When we think of the Holidays all of us have words that immediately come to mind- some words will be the same, some will be different.
Your assignment is to complete the chart below by adding your name and school and five words that come to your mind when you think of the Holidays. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO YOUR GROUP PAGE- EVERY STUDENT WILL BE POSTING THEIR WORDS ON THIS PAGE.
To add this information please follow these directions:
1.Click on the edit option at the top right corner of the page>the Editor toolbar will appear
2. Put your mouse cursor in the "Name & School" box UNDER the last entry (a small chart icon will appear on the page- you can just ignore that).
3. Type in your FIRST name and school abbreviation VP for Vets and BB for Blueberry
4. Move your cursor to the box for Word 1 and type your word.
5. Repeat this process to enter all 5 words.
The chart cells will "grow" with the amount of letters you type. I have entered my information as a guide. Please remember that you are only typing in ONE word for each word cell. If mulitple words are typed in they will be removed!
The really cool thing will be when I take all of our words and create a word cloud called a Wordle. and post it on December 17th, the due date of this assignment.
12/14/10 UPDATE- Some of you have been posting more than ONE word in each cell- as the directions indicated, if this is the case the words/phrases will be deleted! If you are missing words please repost using ONE word ONLY. Thank you!
